The Process

We've started our big letters! We've traced the outlines of the letters using the big screen and we were the first to accomplish it. So we felt ahead of everyone except when we decided to do the very difficult task of duck taping the sides of the letters. Though it would've been easier to paint them like everyone else, the point of the duck tape was to "disrupt" the norm by doing something different.

Disrupt

Verb
-Interrupt (an event, activity, or process) by causing a disturbance or problem
-Drastically alter or destroy the structure of (something)

Though we didn't drastically alter the constitution of the letters, we altered the normal constitution of the sides by adding duck tape to them instead of paint, like everyone else.

For some reason, I took most of the photos and as such, I wasn't in any of them :(.  But anyhow here are a few photos of our process.

Duck taping the insides of the letters were the most difficult. We used two different types of glue— Gorilla super glue and hot glue. In the end, though the super glue was faster, the hot glue looked better by the end.
